In this course, students will learn about various styles of music, how to analyse music and perform both in groups and solo on their chosen instrument. This course is primarily a practical course involving the practice of music both at home and in the classroom.

Students will study the work of practising photographers, digital artists, and film and video makers. They will explore in their own artmaking a range of processes with a strong emphasis on digital image making. The course is designed to assist students in the development of skills in composition, selection, digital manipulation, and presentation.

Visual Arts in Year 9 provides students with an introduction to a range of new techniques and media. Students will explore ideas and different ways of creating artworks. A study of artists and works of art will also be undertaken.
